Most Influential Educators:

Mrs. Toa Finau–She has helped in every way I can imagine. From helping us fundraise for various activities, helping around the school, and so much more.

Mr. Shumway–He is very thoughtful about his work, cares for his students, and is very passionate about the things he teaches. He is by far one of the best teachers I’ve encountered.

Mrs. Yahr–She has supported me through many troubles.

Mrs. Huelskoetter–Always supports me with everything I need.

Mrs. Lorence–For always being prepared for whatever may come her way with Student Council and always having a friendly, positive attitude in the school.

Most Enjoyable Aspect of Living in the Copper Valley: The supportive staff, always recognizing a familiar face, and leadership roles available.

Advice for Younger CRSD Students:  Don’t take your grades for granted. Be serious about your grades from the start and be actively involved in as many groups and leadership activities as you can.

Plans After Graduation:  I will be attending Corban University (Salem, OR) this fall with hopes to obtain a bachelor’s degree in English and creative writing. From there, I hope to make it into the editing field and one day become an author of young adult novels.

Thank You: Mom, Dad, Mr. Shumway, Mr. Von Thaer, Toa, Mele.

The Class of 2016 will be graduating in less than one month.   This edition of the Snippets is an invitation to join us in celebrating each individual graduate and their accomplishments.

Please plan to attend one of the graduation ceremonies to honor the Class of 2016:

Kenny Lake School Graduation Ceremony – May 18

Slana School (K, 6th and 8th Grade Promotion) – May 19

Glennallen School Graduation Ceremony – May 20
